Studio: A New Studio, A New Chapter

Every maker and their team needs a space that keeps pace with their practice. A place where the work can breathe, where the processes that sit behind a finished piece, the forming and the firing, the wiring and the packing, the sketching and the dreaming, can all happen under one roof without compromise. After more than a decade of making, Studio Enti has found that place.

In June 2025, Naomi signed the lease on a new studio in Leichhardt. It is the seventh home Studio Enti has known, and by far the most complete.

Studio v7.0

Studio Enti began on the 1st of July, 2013. What started in Erskineville has since moved through the Sydney suburbs of Darlington, Marrickville, Darlinghurst, and two consecutive spaces in Botany, each chapter a necessary step in the evolution of the studio and the work it produces. Every move brought new constraints and new possibilities. Every space shaped the practice in ways that are difficult to articulate but easy to feel in the work itself.

Leichhardt is a different home all together. In this sunny pocket of the city, every part of the Studio Enti process, crafting, wiring, designing, shipping, and all the quiet work that happens between each of those things, exists within a single, considered space. There is room to make, room to think, and room to grow.

But this studio is more than a place to work; it is a place to welcome people into. This home is worthy of the conversations that happen around the work. A space where anyone can make an appointment to spend intentional time with Naomi and the team: longstanding collaborators can pull up a chair, new clients can see the practice up close, a brief can be talked through surrounded by the textures, forms and light that inform every piece the Studio Enti team makes. The studio at Leichhardt is as much a place for people as it is for process.

We are thrilled to be unpacked and ready to welcome people to our new home. It has taken the best part of a year to get through that process, but now the focus can shift to the coming months which are filled with exciting product launches and collaborations. Having a space purpose built for the daily workings of our studio is a privilege we are very grateful for.

A place to build from

There is something meaningful about reaching a moment where the studio itself reflects the ambition of the work. Studio Enti has spent twelve years building a body of work rooted in the handmade, in fine Australian porcelain forms that bring warmth and craft into the spaces people live and gather in. Leichhardt feels like the foundation that chapter has been working toward.

It is a new age for the brand. And the best place to begin something new is a space that finally feels like home.
