This month, we’re highlighting ZARMA, a stunning residence that exemplifies the pinnacle of bespoke design. Architecturally envisioned by Amores Design, ZARMA is a personal sanctuary brought to life through the collaboration of Allan Amores and the BARLOW Building team, who are also the homeowners. Studio Enti’s lighting was thoughtfully included throughout the residence, adding warmth and sophistication to the carefully curated interiors. The interplay of light and our handcrafted porcelain fixtures enhances this truly unique home's serene, luxurious atmosphere.

The centrepiece of ZARMA is the swimming pool and surrounding tranquil garden. Upon entering through the 3.6-meter frameless glass pivot door, visitors are immediately captivated by the spacious and open interior. The courtyard was thoughtfully designed to create a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor living areas, allowing the breeze from the south to flow through the house. The alfresco living space is perfect for entertaining guests. Equipped with a built-in barbecue and fully equipped bar that offers a comfortable outdoor dining experience.
The ground-floor bathroom features a luxuriously curved shower clad in handmade Japanese tiles, softly illuminated by a pair of EOS Wall Lights. Next to the vanity, a cluster of Crescent Sconce lights adds a layer of ambient lighting, enhancing the serene atmosphere.
The ground floor includes a bedroom, an executive office, and a serene atrium garden. Upstairs, the master suite offers breathtaking city skyline and water views, with a bespoke bedhead, walk-in wardrobe, and minimalist ensuite. A striking cluster of three Orb Lights in varying sizes is suspended at the top of the staircase, visible from the entry, One challenge Allan Amores faced was the home’s location in a flood zone, which required raising the structure one meter above ground. To maintain indoor-outdoor flow, the pool and central courtyard were designed at the same level as the interior, creating a seamless connection between spaces.

The light cast from the Orb Pendant is warm & ambient with some directional light emitting from the hand-carved opening. Hand making the Orb lights in pure, white Australian Porcelain creates a stunning celestial effect through the translucent body of the piece.
Pieces cast in white have the most translucency; the colour they emit will differ with the tone and strength of the lamp chosen. Large orbs tend to have slightly less translucency than the small and medium due to the distance of the light source to the shade. As a family they will have variance in translucency, but work beautifully together. Pieces cast in our coloured porcelain will be opaque with directional light shining through the opening. The EOS is a column light offering upward and downward radiance - perfect for casting ambience over a larger space - be it hallways, bathrooms or architectural enclaves.
Studio Enti Lights are handmade porcelain pieces designed to enhance a diverse range of interior spaces. From small areas requiring a lighting detail to larger statement arrangements, the three sizes can be installed individually or grouped together.
These wall lights have a classic form and are available in the full range of Studio Enti colours.
Due to the nature of the porcelain, pieces cast in white will offer a warm, ambient translucency. Both Wisp and Cloud pieces have semi-translucent qualities which can be played upon with the strength/colour of the lamp used.

The CRESCENT wall sconce represents a waxing moon - just over half full, alive in the promise of what is being transformed. A circular arc of light radiates from within and spills gently onto the wall illuminating whatever is above or below.
The light emitted from the Crescent can be directed upwards or downwards by changing the direction that the sconce is attached to the wall. The sconce sits flush with the wall - the way it has been hand formed meaning there is no light spill along the circular edge - light spilling solely from the straight edged side.
In four unique sizes, the pieces can be grouped together to play with shadows and light or installed as a standalone piece to define and illuminate living spaces, hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and architectural spaces.
Crescent wall sconces can be cast in all shades of the Studio Enti range - White will offer glowing illumination of the entire piece as well as the light spill across the mounted surface. In addition to white, wisp and cloud which will offer hints of translucency with other colourways creating an opaque sconce with directional light.
