Just 150 steps from the sand in one of Sydney's most beloved beachside suburbs, a new kind of stay has opened its doors. One where every guest, every glass of wine on the terrace, and every rinse under the outdoor shower helps fund something bigger.
The Bungalows at Coogee, the latest offering from impact-driven developer The Yellow House Group, is a collection of six designer apartments and one private beach house where profit is returned to the local community. It's the sister property to the much-loved Bungalows at Bondi, which has spent several years proving that hospitality and generosity aren't mutually exclusive.
We're proud that Studio Enti's Eos Lights were chosen to bring warmth to the bathrooms throughout the property.

The Eos was designed to do exactly this kind of quiet, elevated work. Its classic cylindrical form, hand-cast in Australian porcelain, throws both upward and downward radiance. For its use in the bathroom, the Eos light is soft enough for an evening soak, and clear enough for the morning rush before the beach. In a space built around a freestanding tub and a Moroccan-style outdoor shower, that dual glow does a lot of heavy lifting: casting ambience over a slow bath at dusk, then holding its own as functional, everyday light the next morning.
Every piece is handmade in Studio Enti’s Sydney studio; a detail that feels right at home in a property where designer furniture, original Australian artworks, and a garden by Wyer & Co were all chosen with the same care. Nothing at The Bungalows is generic, and the porcelain's natural translucency means no two Eos pieces glow in quite the same way either.
The draw to this project wasn't just the design brief, it was the ethos behind it. As director Marnie Lewis-Millar puts it, property development and social responsibility can, and should, coexist beautifully. Having already proven that model at Bondi, The Yellow House Group has now brought it to Coogee, working alongside designer The Bungalow Designer, builder Galmar Group, and architect Cradle Design to create a stay that looks the part of a luxury Eastern Suburbs escape while quietly funding the community around it.
The EOS is a column light offering upward and downward radiance - perfect for casting ambience over a larger space - be it hallways, bathrooms or architectural enclaves.
Studio Enti Lights are handmade porcelain pieces designed to enhance a diverse range of interior spaces. From small areas requiring a lighting detail to larger statement arrangements, the three sizes can be installed individually or grouped together.
These wall lights have a classic form and are available in the full range of Studio Enti colours.
Due to the nature of the porcelain, pieces cast in white will offer a warm, ambient translucency. Both Wisp and Cloud pieces have semi-translucent qualities which can be played upon with the strength/colour of the lamp used.
